E J Egerton is a writer of fiction with historical, scientific and political themes. His first and second novels, titled The Dahlem Initiative and Operation Blazing Sky are based upon the proliferation of nuclear weapons at the end of World War Two. The alliance between the USA and the Soviet Union is coming apart as both countries are in a race to acquire nuclear weapons technology.
An engineer by profession, part of his career was spent working on DoD and Intelligence community projects.
Egerton holds masters degrees in Government and International Relations from Harvard and Cambridge. He studied fiction writing at UCLA.
He lives in the Black Hills of South Dakota and southern California with his wonderful wife Joan and his dog, Buddy. They like to travel.
He is working on his next novel, which is based on the life of the Emperor Constantine and his family.
